Ceramic (99.5% Alumina Al2O3) flat washers in DIN 125A specification are perfect for extreme applications where exceptional heat resistance, electrical insulation and chemical resistance are required.

Ceramic alumina washers are manufactured from 99.5% alumina Al2O3, which is a polycrystalline material with high hardness and strength. Alumina ceramics have exceptional wear resistance, high temperature tolerance (up to 1,500°C) and chemical stability.
High Temperature Resistance: Alumina ceramic exhibits excellent resistance to high temperatures (up to 1,500°C continuous). It can withstand extreme heat without significant deformation or loss of mechanical properties. This makes ceramic alumina washers suitable for applications in high-temperature environments, such as satellites, vacuum furnaces and within the Oil and Gas industry.
Exceptional Hardness: Alumina ceramic is known for its high hardness, ranking just below diamond on the Mohs scale. Ceramic alumina washers offer exceptional resistance to abrasion, wear, and surface damage. This makes them ideal for applications where components are subjected to friction or abrasive forces.
Corrosion Resistance: Alumina ceramic is highly resistant to corrosion and chemical attack. It can withstand exposure to various acids, alkalis, and corrosive substances without degradation.
